Please don't ask me to remember,
And don't try to make me understand.
Let me rest and know you are with me,
And kiss my cheek and hold my hand.

I am confused beyond your concept,
Also, I am sad and sick and lost.
All I know is that I really need you,
And to be with me at all costs.

Please don't lose patience with me,
And don't scold or curse or cry.
I can't help the way I am acting,
And can't be any different though I try.

Please just remember that I need you,
And that the best of me is gone.
Please don't fail to stand beside me,
And Love me till my life is done.
